Sr. Product Manager, High Power Display Lasers

Job Description and Responsibilities

 

Responsibilities:

 

Manage the entire life cycle from strategic planning to driving business  for high-power display lasers in of one of the most exciting growth areas within the laser industry.

 

•Manage revenue and profitability of your product lines.

•Be the key evangelist for your product lines with a focus on new business development

•Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates your products in the market; partner with sales team as product expert to help demonstrate the best value to customers and support the entire sales process.

•Be the market intelligence expert including understanding customer requirements, their purchasing criteria, and be the expert on the competition and how to win.

•In partnership with Lasersec's MarCom group, develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for your product lines.

•Product development and launch – work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to plan new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plans. This includes the development and execution of core business/financial plans.

 

Education and Work Experience

 

 7-10 years experience in both sales and product line management of technical products including direct field sales; Experience in sales/marketing of High Power lasers is preferred.

• Must be able to lead interdisciplinary (engineering, marketing, sales, manufacturing, quality, etc) teams.

• Excellent written and verbal presentation and communications skills.

• Technical education with minimum BS in Engineering, Chemistry or Physics. Master Degree or Ph.D. preferred.
