SeaLase II is based on the same patented high power laser technology as the original SeaLase integrated in a multifunctional beam director and surveillance platform. Electronically variable beam divergence allows the user to choose between suppression/deterrence, hail/warning, and illumination operation. The wide angle illumination mode allows the integrated camera to operate in total darkness. Thermal, ultra low light sCMOS, and SWIR cameras are optionally available for extended performance. An optional built-in laser rangefinder provides safe and effective operation by ensuring the correct amount of laser power on target in each operational mode. The sealed optical payload is mounted on a pan/tilt platform designed for 24/7 use in harsh all-weather environments. Video target tracking, and radar ”slew-to-cue” are standard features.
